York Biotech Campus to launch new Insect Quarantine Unit
We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Insect Quarantine Unit at York Biotech Campus, following a significant investment.
The specialist facility has been relocated and completely rebuilt within a vacant unit on campus, enhancing the capabilities of long-standing occupier Fera Science Ltd.
Spanning 2,500 sq. ft., built to the highest industry standards and with sustainability in mind, the new unit provides Fera Science Ltd with a purpose-built environment to carry out advanced research and development on invertebrate quarantine pests as part of its remit in ensuring the UK’s biosecurity.
