Labskin doubles in size here onsite

 

Labskin UK – a leading skincare testing company – has doubled its office space and lab space facilities here at York Biotech Campus, to launch new services that will further strengthen the region’s reputation as a leading bioscience hub.

The new space follows an increase in market demand for Labskin’s artificial human-like skin product as a viable alternative to human volunteer studies to test skincare and healthcare products, which haven’t been able to take place because of the pandemic.

Labskin has grown at a fast pace since moving to York Biotech Campus in 2014, but its latest expansion is its biggest yet, as it more than doubles its space to nearly 9,000 sq. ft. The expansion includes five new laboratories, including a dedicated Labskin production suite and office space.
